Got through to the author, who was quite old at the time, and he just guffawed and said, &quot;Naw, I just made all that stuff up!&quot; Actually your story is kinda close to his, but I think that&#039;s probably intentional. And here&#039;s a treat I think is unexpected . . . you can see the mural you mention behind the bar there. I think it was taken for a newspaper article about the place.
